Paula has had a bad run of guys lately. She is accepting of her singleton status now, so when her sisters are trying to set her up with a friend, Paula wants nothing to do with it. At her sister's wedding, things take a turn when Paula and the other bridesmaids end up on stage to be auctioned off to the single guys present. And her ex-stalker wants her as a prize.

Michael is surprised when Paula suddenly turns up at his door, asking for refuge from her family. Without question, he looks after her while keeping away the man who made Paula's life hell some time back. But it's hard to focus in his own home when the woman he's been in love with for some time is present.
