She’s a high maintenance actress, he’s the maintenance man appointed to be at her beck and call.
Alexis Taylor stayed at the Christmas Inn during her childhood, and it was one of the happiest times of her life. Hoping to recreate those fond memories, she books some well-earned downtime at the charming, nostalgic hotel.
When she arrives, she’s surrounded by bodyguards and a finicky assistant—hiding behind her larger-than-life celebrity persona. Alexis is tired, lonely, and disgruntled with her career. The actress naively assumes that the modest inn offers services like those of a large hotel—a bellhop to transport her luggage, room service delivered to her room, and a concierge to address her every whim.
When maintenance man, Brady, is asked to take care of her every request, he reluctantly agrees knowing that the inn can use the positive PR boost from the celebrity’s visit. He quickly forms a bad impression of the haughty star; her demanding attitude turns him off as he grudgingly deals with her frequent demands.
After several interactions with Alexis, Brady starts to realize that the real person behind the celebrity is not who she first appeared to be. As he digs beneath her many layers, he becomes attracted to the real Alexis, and she to him.
Can two lonely hearts from opposite worlds find their way to a happily ever after?
